Lawrence Stubbs - Founder, President, Janitor
Lawrence Stubbs is a lifelong performance car enthusiast. He is a 12-year US Air Force combat veteran. His military experience includes combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, plus operations in Libya as well as two counter-narcotics deployments into South America and the Caribbean. His role was a technical one, serving as an airborne mission system technician, an instructor, and a NCO flying aboard command & control aircraft accruing over 2000 flight hours, over 1000 of which were in combat zones.
Following active duty, he worked several years within the IT sector. His roles included performing project manager duties for a business software company, database design and management, as well as various cybersecurity positions as a contractor within the Department of Defense. Lawrence held a Top Secret/SCI security clearance for approximately 12 years.
Performance cars have been his passion since childhood. During his military years he became much more involved as an enthusiast, attending track days, car shows, and enthusiast club events with his personal cars. His personal cars served as the laboratory where he learned how to maintain, modify, and perform mechanical work, doing all the research himself in his spare time.
Lawrence’s formal performance automotive technician training came from participation in Tuner School, operated by Hennessey Performance Engineering in Sealy, TX. He leveraged the program to fill in as many gaps in his technical knowledge as possible and expand his skillset to the maximum extent while observing the practices, philosophies, and fallacies of a successful aftermarket performance car builder.

Michael Crum - Chief Technician
Michael had a passion for cars since he could walk, his first obsession was the Corvette and he is one of the biggest gearheads you'd ever meet. From 2005-2010 Michael served in combat as a Sniper with the US Army where he quickly rose the ranks to a leadership role by having an aptitude for extreme detail, becoming a very knowledgeable and proficient marksman while also exuding a strong sense of honor, integrity and personal strength. Following military service, Michael attended and graduated from Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Houston, TX and since has accrued in-depth understanding and experience as an automotive technician.
Working solely in custom/high-performance since 2011, Michael has worked at some of the biggest and prominent names in the performance and racing industry including time as an instructor teaching people to become performance automotive technicians.
One of Michael’s greatest strengths is his extensive knowledge of General Motors’ Gen III and IV "LSX" V8 engine platform and a strong competency in the design, assembly, and diagnosis of automotive electrical systems.
In his most recent role, Michael performed race-specific support duties on non-road legal SCCA and IMSA circuit race cars of all types, but specialized in late model Porsche and BMW. His duties included detailed pre- and post-race inspections, routine maintenance and repairs, installation of racing systems and safety equipment, trackside support and regularly performing suspension setups which included string alignments with ride height tuning and corner-balancing to tailor the handling characteristics of the racecar to its driver’s evolving needs.
